Development & Construction
3 rolesOversee day-to-day construction operations on active adaptive reuse and new construction sites. Coordinate local subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects stay on schedule and budget.
- 5+ years construction supervision
- OSHA 30 certified
- Experience with residential or mixed-use projects
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Manage full project lifecycle from pre-construction through handover. Work directly with the Director of Investment & Development on scheduling, cost control, permitting, and contractor management.
- 7+ years in construction project management
- Experience with affordable housing or LIHTC projects
- PMP or equivalent preferred
- Strong knowledge of LS building codes
Support project managers with documentation, scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor communication. Entry-level pathway into project management.
- 1-3 years construction industry experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in project management software
- Valid driver's license
Architecture & Design
2 rolesJoin our architecture division working on adaptive reuse designs. Produce construction documents, 3D models, and assist Lead Architect Katherine Whitford with design development across multiple active projects.
- B.Arch or M.Arch degree
- 1-3 years professional experience
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
- Interest in sustainable and adaptive reuse design
Lead community-facing design processes including site planning, public space design, and neighborhood integration studies. Work with city planners and community stakeholders.
- Master's in Urban Planning or Architecture
- 3+ years urban design experience
- Experience with public engagement processes
- GIS and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
Operations & Property Management
3 rolesManage day-to-day operations of completed residential properties. Handle tenant relations, maintenance coordination, rent collection, and Section 8 compliance documentation.
- 3+ years property management experience
- Section 8 / HCV program knowledge
- California real estate license preferred
- Strong tenant communication skills
Primary point of contact for residents across our portfolio. Process applications, coordinate move-ins, handle maintenance requests, and ensure positive tenant experience.
- 1-2 years customer service or property management experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations
- Empathetic and detail-oriented
Lead pre-development community engagement processes. Organize town halls, design charrettes, and resident meetings. Build relationships with neighborhood organizations and local government.
- 2+ years community organizing or engagement experience
- Deep knowledge of South LS communities
- Public speaking and facilitation skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Finance & Administration
2 rolesBuild financial models for new acquisitions, analyze deal structures, and support investor reporting. Work directly with Bubba F. Chubbs on capital allocation and project feasibility.
- 2-4 years real estate finance or investment banking
- Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills
- Knowledge of LIHTC, Opportunity Zones, or municipal grants
- Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, or Real Estate
Manage city grant applications, tax incentive program compliance, and Section 8 documentation. Ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements and reporting deadlines.

- Familiarity with HUD programs and LS Housing Authority
